First Pay Check!!

Was really tired this morning and missed the usual bus that i take.. the funny thing is that Azelia is also late and we both missed the same bus that we were supposed to take.. Been seeing her at the bus stop everyday while going to work. How nice to have someone to take bus with every other day.. and take bus to and back from work.. and have her seated right next to me in the office.. haha.. Girl, i really think this is more than a coincidence.. Everything about us seemed just so similiar!! Anyway, glad you are there to cheer my boring days up in the office.

It's end month.. and yes.. was really excited about end month.. cos that's always when the money comes it.. Got my first pro-rated pay check.. not much, since i work for less than half a month.. but weird enough.. i felt happy.. Must be the satisfaction of having landed into a full-time job and getting on with life...

Tiring Week..

Haven't been blogging since i started work last thursday.. it was really a torture for me to wake so early everyday.. Trying to make sure that i reach work on time (so as not to create a bad impression) and going through my wardrobe deciding what to wear to work is so tedious on me each morning..

Ironing my working clothes is also a BIG nightmare.. Don't want to appear sloppy in the office.. Had 3 days of training and had to work on Father's Day at one of the outlets.. That really dampened my spirits so much!! On top of that, working for 9 hours on a SUNDAY isnt anything that i could smile about.. I was so down the whole day..

The week followed with loads of menial tasks on hand.. sorting out the past brochures.. filing old documents.. sorting photographs.. i must have sort a few thousand photos till date.. went through all the photographs of the different cake designs eversince Angie the Choice opened its doors in Singapore slightly more than 15 years ago.. Till this day, 4 days after i started sorting them out.. I'm only about halfway through.. my whole table is such a mess and i wonder when i'll ever get through them..

Through the menial stuff that i have been doing.. the fresh cakes from the manufacturing level never fails to steal me away from my desk.. part of my job encompasses food tasting.. *grinz* I know im gonna grow fat for sure.. Ate 3 different slices of DURIAN cake today and left me blurping with durian all day long.. Yum Yum.. Tasted the Oreo cake, the yam cake, strawberry cake, rich cheese cake (not in market yet), and the durian cakes from different durian makes in less than a week!! Kinda like eat and eat on the job all day..

Finally Employed..

Im gonna start working as a marketing executive at angie the choice.. and yes!! it's really been my choice since i went for the interview.. really into the job and i'm really excited about working tomorrow..

Didnt realise that i havent been blogging for ages.. Been really busy meeting up with friends, going for interviews and doing loads of entertaining here and there.. i think the meeting up craze in on..hee..

Meet up with Pei and Shuyu last monday and heard that pei is going Korea! How fun.. Girl.. work and money is important, but promise me that you'll look after your health too alright?

Met up with Jac & Qunyu last wednesday.. It's been really fun shopping with you girls.. I wonder when is the next time that we can afford such lifestyle.. *sigh* gonna miss it badly..

Was kinda partying the weekend away.. coz it's wei's birdy day!! It's eating, singing and drinking all weekend long.. it was really tiring but then so fun and enjoyable...Sweetie, i do hope you have enjoyed yourself. :)

Went for a wedding dinner on tuesday.. Congratulations to Sean & Cindy. May both of you be blessed with happiness and good health! Cindy looked really sexy in that wedding gown.. Wow.. *salivating*

Heard about a last minute farewell dinner with allan & the phs gang today. He's leaving for UK and wont be back in the short run.. Bro, though im gonna see you again tomorrow for maybe the last time or the second last time, i wish you all the best.. send my regards to daisy and remember to write back when you can and keep in touch ya? I'm gonna miss hanging out with ya and i'm losing one of my beloved snooker kaki!!

I'm so beat now.. havent slept well for the whole weekend.. Need to sleep soon.. must look good for first day at work...

Peculiar Event..

Saw something really interesting while shopping at esprit alone at raffles city. I was waiting for Qunyu to come.. Then i realised that there were people in the showcase!

Took a detour out there to check them out and it found it really interesting. There was this display, called the Urban Dream capsule.. People were actually living in the window display! They even have the shower room there for people to see.. and i guess one could actually see them shower coz the shower room doors are actually glass pieces all round.. Of coz, with the special area covered. :) They were living under public scrutiny.. and for 24 hours per day for a straight 15 days.. i thought it was really something that took some courage to do.. and for the sake of art.. how noble..

I guess people were really fascinated with loads of the working crowd spending portions of their lunch time there under the hot sun observing these people.. and there were loads of messages from the well-wishers pasted on the windows for us to read. I really thought they were encouranging.. and at the point of time i was there.. two of them were actually doing exercise facing each other.. kinda like a mirror image kind of thing.. quite funny.. Wanted to take a photo initially.. but changed my mind.. I popped over to their kitchen area and that the stove was boiling with some food that they were cooking.. was kinda fascinated with all the stuff that they had there in that small area..

I managed to catch Harry Potter today, bought the tickets half an hour before the show started and managed to get seats in the centre portion.. of coz, i opted watching in a neighbourhood cinema like Yishun 10. Avoided loads of crowd.. hee.. The cinemas in town, in the west and in the east were almost fully booked and selling fast at 5pm in the evening.. even when all the shows are starting after 6pm..

Well.. here's what i think.. Being a avid Harry Potter fan, i kinda knew what was going to happen during the movie.. and i would say it sort of killed many of the exciting scenes for me..Kinda knew the whole story line.. what's gonna happen.. and actually laugh before anyone knew that its gonna be a funny scene.. but as someone who didnt read the book.. you'll prob. leave the cinema with loads of questions in your head..

I would have said that i enjoyed the movie a lot, but not as much as the first. The special effects werent as much or as nice as the first movie, but nevertheless, it was still great. I wished the movie would have been longer.. Although it was quite long (2 hours), it certainly didnt feel like 2 hours in the cinema.. Anyway, the ending was quite unexpected, didnt really end exactly like what was in the books.. some of the details were left out and that was why one will leave the cinema with loads of questions..

Well, I'm definitely looking towards the next movie..

It's a public holiday today.. and actually it hasnt really made much difference to me. Being unemployed, every day is like a public holiday. Quite sick of being unemployed at times, but i havent found a job that i know at least i wouldnt drag my feet to work.

Anyway, i found something that i'm am really happy about! My favourite harry potter movie is going to be out today! Yeah! Hopefully, im able to grab some tickets and watch the show.. I'm a BIG harry potter fan you know.. *excited*

Sent out more resumes today.. Hmm.. Nothing much or interesting in the job market recently. Think i should seek some agency's help.. Am really tired for now.. Going to konk out.. hope my dreams will be sweet..
