Get Togethers..

Had a tiring day yesterday.. Spent the whole day shopping with Huisi and then went to meet my uni classmates... or rather, my beloved group mates that went through loads of fun eating, working and gossiping together at the benches in SIM.. We ate at this Hougang coffeeshop.. and wow.. i must say the food there is quite nice and there's a large crowd and they had to extend the tables a long way down the corridors...

The moment we sat down.. we laughed, and chatted non stop.. Really miss those days tho it's only couple of months ago.. It's so boring being unemployed now.. Oh.. wanted to take photos and then post it here.. but forgot my camera.. Called and made sure that michie brought hers instead.. but guess what.. we forgot all about taking photos till the moment we got home!! What a pity.. wonder when's the next time we'll meet like that again.. It's going to be harder when everyone starts getting a job..

Met up Kwan Boon and Willy today.. my poly classmate and friend.. For those who knows kb, he's leaving for Aussieland soon.. Going there to get a business degree at University of Queensland. Leaving end feb.. catch him before he leaves for those who hasnt seen him in a while.. (tho i think he still looks the same like 4 years ago..) Or else, wait till December before you'll get to see him again..

Anyway, i realised i made a HUGE blunder today.. Been thinking and telling EVERYBODY that i'm flying on thursday. Brother just asked me what time i am intending to go to the airport next WEDNESDAY.. and i was going like.. "oh.. bye bye.. you'll go to the airport on wednesday yourself k? I'll go on a thursday.." Brother actually jumped and shouted.."What? We flying on a thursday meh? i thought wednesday??"

Oh well.. checked the air tickets and also the calendar and verified that it's actually going to be a WEDNESDAY.. I'm wrong.. And it wasn't good news.. screwed up my intended schedule of shopping and meeting friends.. and i'm actually planning to pack my lugguage on wednesday! Anyway, just to make sure.. messaged huisi to tell her about the blunder i made and the time we are heading to the airport and she was going.."Huh? I thought we flying on a thursday!!" haha.. So, im not the only one huh? Hee..

Think Positive..

The year of the Monkey is supposedly not very good people born in the year and that includes ME.. yes ME.. The fortune teller that appear on TV on the eve of Chinese New Year mentioned that it's not going to be a smooth year for the monkeys and people like me should proceed with caution..

Went Chinatown abt 2 weeks ago and there's this HUGE wall in People's Park Complex with horoscope of all the 12 chinese zodiac signs.. Took a peep and it didnt bode well either.. and we are supposedly to "fan tai-shui" this year.. (heard it's offending the GOD - Tai Shui).. I'm actually quite ignorant on all the chinese customs and religions and i definitely didnt go and pray in the temples when MANY MANY of my friends say i should.

Anyway, abt the huge wall and all the horoscopes there.. i actually did take a peep at many others and it seems that everyone else's luck and fortune and wealth aren't any better.. i could have seen wrongly though.. you know.. had to squeeze with aunties and uncles just to see what the wall was about..

After all that reading and watching (the horoscopes i mean).. all the errrmm.. b a d luck i was going through.. I still believe that destiny is in one's own hands.. no matter how down, life will still go on and the earth will still rotate.. the birds wont stop chirping and people will grow and time will still tick away...

Only by thinking positively, changing my perception and adjusting my attitude that i can make myself and my life better.. I'm trying hard at it.. well.. after all, im going to get a new computer and a new mobile phone and oh yes.. i still have a trip to look forward to.. in just SIX days..

Feeling Terrible...

One cant help feeling terrible when luck runs low.. First, my beloved com died on me.. then decided to get some fresh air out from the house by playing a couple games of snooker and ended up paying everyone else money.. then my handphone keeps dying on me.. Imagine the frustration of calling/smsing and seeing your mobile screen go blank at the critical moments... How can things get worse?

But it seems.. there are always 2 sides of a coin.. Thinking positively, it MEANS i'll get a NEW computer, and a NEW mobile phone and end up making 3 people who took my money HAPPIER.. Yeah.. im just trying to make myself feel better.. :)

Looking forward to later today.. Guess it's gonna be fun.. Going shopping and then to BOSS's house.. hee.. maybe a little retail therapy will help!





For now.. these sleeping pals of mine should be of some help to lift my mood..

Another New Day..

Embraced wednesday in the midst of trying to figure out the coding for the blog. Aint any html expert so got to do it by trial and error..

Still have some alignment out.. gave up on them.. decided to seek the experts' help tomorrow.. Am still trying to convince myself that almost a month has passed and it only seemed like yesterday when i celebrated new year's eve in a friend's house..

Cousin Kenny got married just a couple of days into 2004.. there were cute little teddys in bridal gowns and suits as door gifts.. and yep.. they are really popular among my female cousins.. I got LOADS of them too.. Placed them all in position for the banquet.. Cousins all said i'm crazy.. but it's just me.. Will load the photo of that after i have figured out the gist of hosting images on msn groups.. Oh.. and did i mention that the bride was a really sweet babe?

A New Beginning...

Started this blog so that i have a place to air my thoughts.. the things happening around me and my life in general.. It's also going to be a venue where i'm gonna post pictures of a trip that i will be embarking on real soon.. :)
